WHAT IS IT ALL ABOUT?

Southam & District is Round Table 1222 in Area 45 (Midland Shires) of RTBI. As table, we meet on 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month, our busy programme normally has us 'oot and aboot'. Really no such thing as a typical event, but things as diverse as microlighting, falconry evening, leisurely cycle ride visiting country hostelries, frisbee golf are all recent examples.

In brief, Round Table is a gentlemen's organisation for 18-45 year olds. Table's sister organisation, Ladies Circle - runs along similar lines but for ladies. Both organisations meet on occasions for formal and informal social events. If you're of more mature years, fear not - 41 Club (for him) and Tangent (for her) are both active in the Southam area, too. Drop us a line and we'll be glad to put you in touch.

In addition to the fun and friendship, tablers also 'do' fundraising for good causes, or give our hard work. We completed a local community project in conjunction with Central TV's 'Our House' programme; we laid a patio and built a garden shed (in about 25 seconds - see the programme?) at St Wulstan sheltered accommodation in Southam.
