Program Update:P*SS-UP IN A BREWERY

 

Date: 20th March 2000 Time: 7:15 (or earlier) - latest 7:30 at the Brewery - Cubbington
Event: Quiet trip around a brewery and light refreshments – mmmm!
Location: Warwickshire Beer Company, Cubbington (~ 4 miles from Southam)
Deadline: Apologies by Monday 13th March 2000 – you have been warned!
Transport: A 16-seater mini-bus is being laid on to take people from Harbury and Southam. There will be a nominal cost (£2 each way) to those who use it Ring me if you wish to use it - First come first served. It leaves Southam outside the Bowling Green at 19:00 and Harbury outside the Dog at 19:15 on the dot !!!
Agenda: We are expected at the Warwickshire Beer Company Brewery in Cubbington (Queens Street – by the shops) at 07:30. The tour lasts one hour only and the food is booked at the Kings Head pub for 09:00 (just 100 yards up the road, away from the main road)
Food:

A splendid spread: homemade chicken, ham ‘n sweetcorn pie, fresh picked veg & chips (of course) – If anyone wants something different to eat let me know sooner than later – Any Veggies? Andy?

Cost: The tour is free but we will be asking for a nominal (£1 or £2) per person to put into a kitty for Phil Page the guide. The food at the pub is only £5 a head which will be put on your account (except guests of course!). Unfortunately we do have to pay for the beer we drink in the pub!

Summary of costs:

Transport Total = £4 (taxi) £1(guide) £5 (food) = £10 i.e. £5 account £5 cash

Cost of beer heavily dependent upon your capacity!
