Gentlemen,
Your patience and mounting excitement is about to be rewarded."BB" with a great deal of help and support from the original "Mr. offroad" -Andy "Landy", Spike and Pete, has come up with the goods as promised. So here's the cunning plan !
At 8:00pm prompt we will leave The Great Western to the specially created off road jungle ! This is not a public event - RT members and guests only.
Main event cost is £10 cash per head (includes venue rental,4x4 fuel and all minibus transport [see below]).
Meal choice, at additional cost, at the Kings Head (at 9:45) will be of similar great quality to the 5th June. Perhaps if Martin has the cheque book we can put it onto our accounts ?
Minibus transport will collect those that wish from the following gathering points and depart by the time indicated.
| Ye Olde Kings Head Napton | 7.00pm | bus back to here later for meal, so Paul can park his car and use the minibus |
| Black Horse Marton | 7.15pm | expect Mark, James, Colin and Karl)(possibly Ian Pinder + guest ? |
| Bull Southam | 7.30pm | expect Alan, Steve, Mark and Iain |
| Old Post Office Ladbroke | 7.35pm | expect Trevo |
| Hillside Bishops I | 7.40pm | expect Nick |
| Dog Harbury | 7.45pm | expect Ian, Mike, Andy, Colin, Richard and Tim |
I am very sorry that the changeable weather has not allowed
more notice of the event details, but having sorted the venue we
now need to have very rapid notification if you are unable
to attend. Please e-mail or phone me by end of Saturday 17th June.
Mark, the landlord of the King's Head will be our guest on the
event.
For those not able to off-road, the meal will be at the KH Napton
at approximately 9.45pm with Warwickshire Beer Co. Ale.
On a safety note, if it precipitates all weekend and with safety
in mind, please realise that the course may become undriveable
and we shall just have to get pi**ed instead !
This off road event is offered for your participation entirely
at your own risk. (but it's going to be great fun and Karl,
part of the course is over a potato field (so lets mash those
tatties)
Yours in Table
(or under it)
