TABLE MEETING INFORMATION
National Banger Racing at Grimley, Worcs
16 & 17th September weekend
VENUE: Grimley Raceway. nr Worcester - the usual place.
COST: £50 - £100 for the event, excl beer and hotdogs. This figure depends on how much interest we get and how many cars we go for, also how naff the prepared cars turn out to be!
The intention is to 'buy' pre-prepared car(s) for the weekend, and to nurse them through the event.... Mechanicking skills useful but not necessary - ownership of a good sized sledge hammer could be useful, but come prepared to work hard and get dirty (changing the thrust bearing on the nearside differential lock washer housing can be a tricky task)!.
Camping available nearby at a pleasant riverside inn.
Guys, previous experience shows this to be an active and enjoyable weekend. Note however that banger racing is a dangerous motor sport event and participation is at your own risk!
