Unfortunately Sid James couldn't make it and Barbara Windsor has had a bust up (!) in the East-End so the Carry-on bit has had to go.
So left with the crazy bit - what could be more crazy than getting our ageing legs and feet onto the ice for an hour or so's skating. If you can't skate don't worry neither can I or anyone else I suspect.
Venue: Skating: Sky-Dome Coventry Eating: Next Door at Old Orleans
Time : Meet at 7.30 in the skating arena
Costs : Skating is £4 plus skate hire £1 Menu is £6 - £8 plus drinks
Monday night is ladies night but we don't need to go in drag (unless you want to) so there may be some talent on show even if it isn't our skating. There is a bar in the Arena.
The Sky Dome is quite an impressive arena and is the home of the Coventry Blaze ice hockey team (previously of Solihull) - for those really interested .....

Getting there --------->
The official route : The Sky dome Arena is situated on Croft Road near Coventry city centre. Follow the A4114 Holyhead Road from the A45 towards Coventry city centre. Turn right onto the ring road, and take the first exit to the left. The Arena is in front.
My way : Junction 7 off the ring road - parking is best at the Co-op - go past the Sky Dome entrance, turn left at the lights then immediately left again.
So get your skates on - Apologies and guests to me by Friday pm Feb 16th please.
