TABLE MEETING INFORMATION

High-Tiddle (or Hi, Tiddle!)

30th March to 1st April 2001

Gentlemen,

High-Tiddle is an annual Area Event, involving the sport of tiddlywinks which must be tiddled at altitude on the weekend nearest to 1st April (or somesuch). The event runs from the Friday evening get-together and fellowship, followed by the Saturday tiddling and Black Tie Gala Dinner, returning home during the course of the Sunday.

This year's event is organised and hosted by Daventry (#870) as a result of their amazing prowess on the tiddle-board last year - they had the highest positive number of points at game-end. Suckers, some might say!

2001 - A Tiddle Oddity will be held in the Cambrian Mountains, the hotel(s) alleged to be in Aberystwyth.

Cost: £135 to include 2 nights stay at a quality hotel with full breakfasts, Friday night meal, Saturday lunch and the Gala dinner on Saturday with after-dinner speaker. No nagging kids, no screaming wives!

Payment: £80 payable now to 'Daventry & District Round Table 870', balance of £55 on arrival. I have the booking forms if you want one.

This is not an attendance event, please actively book in for this one.

Alan

Please note that winter hill-walking and the playing of tiddlywinks at high altitude is very hazardous and this event is at your own risk.
