AREA SPORTS INFORMATION
Family Fun Day
15th July 2001
Ditching the previous area sports format (which didn't seem to work) and running a family-inclusive event. The concept is "simple and fun". More details to follow.
Date and time : Sunday 15th July, an afternoon thing. Ground opens about 9am, games to start at 12:30.
Venue : Trinity Guild Rugby Ground, near Coventry Airport. Just turn up!
Dress : hmmm ... depends on the weather. Bring spares. There are changing facilities available.
Meal : nothing provided, however barbecues are allowed on the field, as are picnics - basically sort yourself out! There will be a large barbecue pit available for your use. There will be a bar from 12 - 8pm.
Cost : £10 per family, including a free adult drink and a free ice cream and drink for the children
There should be a number of adult (not x-rated) games and a Children's It's a Knockout. Teams will be organised to reflect the attending Tables and game points will be accrued in this way.
Advice is to bring a change of clothes and some monster water pistols if you have them (for the children to 'support' you with!)
