Fly fishing - flick your rod and pull a beauty

Date and time : Monday 23rd August, 6:30 til 8:30, followed by a curry

Dress: sunglasses with polarised lenses and a cap. If its wet then boots and wet gear will be appropriate

Cost: c £20 apiece for rod hire, tuition and fishing

Meal: BYOB curry in Warwick

Venue: Heathcote Lake Trout Fishery, Harbury Lane,Warwick

Basic directions - head out the bottom of Leamington along Europa Way passing McDonalds and Sainsburys on your left, then the C&G building and eventually the Damon Hill dealership ie heading south towards the M40 - but at the roundabout just past Damon Hill take the second left along Harbury Lane which goes round the back of Warwick Gates I think. The fishery is a hundred yards or so along Harbury Lane on the right.

If you've got your own rod please bring it. Black Buzzers, Gold Headed Damsels and Gold Ribbed Hare's Ear are recommended flies
